First Snow of the Season!!!

We finally got some snow last night so I have something to write about :-)
It was only about an inch but it was beautiful!!

Family Room

Erin moved out of the house and into a Longmont apartment a little over a year ago. About two weeks later we took out a wall that seperated Connor's bedroom from the downstairs hallway. (Connor had since moved into Erin's old room.) We also are installing a bar. Here are some pictures. The project is not finished (No comments, please.) but coming along nicely.

Hi Dan,
This is the website for the Falls City Beavers which is the highschool Willie & Maggie go to. They participate in all the sports since it is a small school. Willie won't be in basketball this year since he messed up his knee playing football but hopes to get back in shape for track. He is one on the fastest runners. Maggie is a cheerleader, plays basketball, does crosscountry and will also do track when the season comes around. Michele & John maintain the website. Don't know if you want this info but here it is.

Show and Tell - Dan

I was thinking this morning that we should add some posts about what we do in our day to day lives. I'll go first.

I work for the St. Vrain Valley School District on the computer help desk. Up until three years ago, I was tech support manager, but that was no fun. I now spend my days helping teachers and staff with their computer problems. Since I have been with the district since 2000, I know a lot of the people calling and have fun joking with them while I am working n their issue. [Insert Picture]

I also work at the local Super Target three to four shift a week. Generally I work in the photo lab but a often called for other jobs, such as; guest service, sales floor, cashier, lanes supervisor... I enjoy helping the guests at the photo lab and working with quite a variety of co-workers. [Insert Picture]

Amy and I bought our first house about five years ago and I do a lot of projects around the house, poor Amy. I say that because my projects tend to be large and take a long time to complete. One of my projects that I have been working on for the last year included reversing the direction or our staircase. Before when you entered the house, there were stairs up on the left and stairs down on the right. Now the stairs up are on the right and down on the left.

Amy and I play and collect board games. At last count we had over 120 board and card games. Current family favorites include Scrabble, Munchkin, and Settlers of Catan. Since we have so many games, I have also put the names of all of them on little slips of paper. One of us pulls a slip out of a hat and we play that game. We call this "Game from a Hat"

In my spare time, I work on my graphic designs. Samples of these can be seen on my blog and my on line store. Just yesterday a lady in Colorado purchased a Defenestration tee-shirt.

Thats all I can think of for now. Anyone want to go next?

20th Anniversary

Today is Amy and my 20th anniversary. We are planning on abandoning Connor and going out to Outback Steak House for dinner.
